Medical and Dental Care The  Arc Primary Care Center at St. Barnabas Ambulatory Care Center  The Arc, Ocean County Chapter and the St. Barnabas Ambulatory Care Center have formed a partnership to establish a primary care center that offers a full range of services to meet the health care needs of people with developmental disabilities throughout the region. This “one-stop” integrated care center is located in Whiting, New Jersey. Funding to support this program was originally awarded through the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s New Jersey Health Initiatives Program. The full service primary care center, administered by The Arc, Ocean County Chapter, provides a staff with expertise in the needs of people with mental retardation, autism, down syndrome, cerebral palsy, spina bifida and other developmental disabilities.   Services include medical, psychiatry, podiatry and neurology; treatment for acute and chronic illnesses; case management, referrals to specialists as needed: and social services. Open to all individuals with developmental disabilities, there is no county residency requirement to receive these services. The Arc Primary Care Center is staffed by Corinne Malmberg, RN, MSN, APN,  a nurse practitioner with several years experience in the medical & health care field.  Dr. Wilhelmia Ferandos, MD, is the Collaborating Physician. The Arc Dental Clinic  The Arc Dental Clinic is located at the Kimball Neighborhood Health Center, 101 Second Street, Lakewood, NJ.  This clinic offers dental care for children and adults with developmental disabilities. Dr. Velazquez currently handles all of our clients' general dental needs.  Clinic hours are offered on two Tuesdays per month from 8:00am to 1:30 pm.  Scheduled appointments are done through The Arc by calling (732) 886-4955.   Click on link for directions from The Arc.  For directions from other locations please click on this link from
