Respite Care

Temporary care that provides relief for permanent care givers. It can be offered for a few hours, a weekend or overnight. The Arc screens and trains respite providers so families can utilize this program knowing their family member is properly cared for.

Self-Hired Respite allows families with children to use the care giver of their choice to provide respite care.  Families are reimbursed as the Department of Children and Families contract allows.

Please contact us to process your self-hired respite reimbursement.

Community Based Supports

Community-Based Supports involve one-on-one support and may encompass help with community activities and include training and assistance for individuals as they learn and execute various tasks around their homes and communities.

Parents and other family members can now provide their loved one with Community-Based Supports and receive compensation for their caregiver services. Example include support attending events or classes, assistance with daily living skills, help with menu ordering and making purchases, support in learning basic skills, and guidance with travel training.

Contact us for additional qualifications for caregivers.
