Family Support Services
Family Support provides assistance to families in various ways including in-home and out of home respite, information and referral, advocacy and emotional support. Our Support Coordination service assists families to identify, navigate and locate needed supports and services with the development of the Individual Service Plan. In addition we provide Community Based Support services utilizing staff support to provide one to one assistance, training and supervision to help participants achieve independence in their home and community.
Respite Care
Temporary care that provides relief for permanent care givers. It can be offered for a few hours, a weekend or overnight. The Arc screens and trains respite providers so families can utilize this program knowing their family member is properly cared for.
Self-Hired Respite allows families with children to use the care giver of their choice to provide respite care. Families are reimbursed as the Department of Children and Families contract allows.
Please contact us to process your self-hired respite reimbursement.
