The Arc, Ocean County Chapter offers 60+ housing options to fit the personal needs of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities including group homes, supervised apartments, and supportive living apartments.

Interested candidates must be registered with NJ Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) before scheduling a tour and interview with the program's Residential Director. Click here to learn how to get started with DDD.

  • Stratford Group Home in Brick (1 M/F)

    This co-ed group home is located close to Route 88 in Brick Township. This one-story ranch-style group home has 5 bedrooms and features handicap-accessible ramps in the front and back of the home and three bathrooms, one of which is handicapped accessible.  

    The ideal candidate for this vacancy would be a male or female between the ages of 35-70. He or she would be living with two other females and two other males, two of whom use wheelchairs in the home. The common areas and bathrooms would be shared. This group home currently has enhanced medical support with LPN staffing from 7 am to 11 pm.

  • Cornerstone Supervised Apartment in Toms River (1 M)

    This apartment is conveniently located close to the Garden State Parkway and on Route 9 in Toms River. The two (2) bedroom apartment features both handicap-accessible kitchens and bathrooms and has an open-concept floor plan.  Residents of the complex can utilize the on-site fitness room and community room.

    The ideal candidate for this vacancy would be a male between the ages of 22-50. They would be living with one other male individual. This person must be able to self-preserve, as staff are not in the apartment at all times.

  • Lacey 2 Supervised Apartment in Lacey (1 F)

    This apartment is conveniently located close to the Garden State Parkway and Route 9 in Lacey Township. The two (2) bedroom apartment features both handicap accessible kitchen and bathroom and an open-concept floor plan.  Residents of the complex can utilize the on-site fitness room and community room.

    The ideal candidate for this vacancy would be a female between the ages of 30-60. She would be living with one other female, with common areas including the bathroom. This person must be able to self-preserve, as staff are not in the apartment at all times. This individual needs to have at least 4 hours of unsupervised time.

  • Meadow Green Supervised Apartment in Toms River (1 M/F)

    This apartment is conveniently located close to the Garden State Parkway and on Route 9 in Toms River. The one (1) bedroom apartment features an open-concept floor plan.  Residents of the complex can utilize the on-site fitness room and community room. This person must be able to self-preserve, as staff are not in the apartment at all times.

    Candidates must have the ability to be unsupervised for multiple hours at a time. Candidates cannot exceed the income limit of $18,300 per year to qualify for this apartment. Additionally, candidates must be under the age of 55.

  • Laurel Oaks Supervised Apartment in Barnegat (3 M)

    This apartment is conveniently located close to the Garden State Parkway and on Route 9 in Barnegat Township. The two (2) and three (3) bedroom apartments feature both handicap-accessible kitchens and bathrooms and an open-concept floor plan.  Residents of the complex can utilize the on-site fitness room and community room.

    The ideal candidate for this vacancy would be a male between the ages of 20-50. They would share common areas, including the bathroom, with one (1) or two (2) other individuals. This person must be able to self-preserve, as staff are not in the apartment at all times.
