Wow Ocean County, you really stepped it up this year!

To celebrate our 20th Anniversary Step Up for the Arc Walk, we invited our residents, participants, staff and community members to join us on Saturday, May 21st at the BlueClaws Stadium for a day of fun and fundraising. 

Starting at 10am, event attendees enjoyed crafts provided by the Brick Girl Scouts #1845, Brick Girl Scouts #50463, Home Depot Kids Workshop Kits and the Toms River South Interact Club, played games like corn hole and can toss to win prizes from Chick-fil-a, Bubbakoo's Burritos and BMI Merchandise, danced with DJ Gregg and Mon-ster Fitness and enjoyed snacks from BJ's, Costco and Shoprite. 

For our 20th Anniversary celebration ceremony at 11am, Executive Director Laura Williams was joined by board president Ruth Churchill, Tom Baffuto from The Arc NJ and Commissioner Ginny Haines to announce the exceeded fundraising total of $72,000 to support our programs and services for adults with disabilities in Ocean County, NJ.

Around noon, as a community we walked 1-mile around the BlueClaws baseball stadium followed by yummy subs donated by Jersey Mike's and refreshing Rita's Water Ice donated by Cedar Management.
