On Tuesday, September 12th The Arc, Ocean County Chapter welcomed 4 volunteers from OceanFirst Bank to help freshen up the garden area at the Tuckerton Adult Training Center.
The Arc was chosen as one out of 90 nonprofits to participants in OceanFirst's annual CommUNITY First volunteer day, where bank staff are deployed into their local community to lend a hand and make connections.
Volunteers worked alongside participants at the Tuckerton ATC to weed, build raised garden beds and plant new shrubbery for the fall.
