The Arc, Ocean County Chapter was the beneficiary of an OceanFirst Foundation Community Grant in 2023 to support our vocational and employment support services for individuals with IDD in Ocean County.

Participants of the Journeys and Discovery vocational day program accepted the check from Ms. Kathy Durante, the OceanFirst Foundation's Executive Director. 

While visiting The Arc, Kathy and Stephanie received the grand tour from our Journeys participants who shared their learned job skills and the work they are doing out in the community, like gardening at Field of Dreams or volunteering at a local daycare.

We so appreciate this grant from the OceanFirst Foundation and their continued support of people with disabilities at The Arc, Ocean County Chapter!
