On October 8th Journeys and Discovery had a table at the Disability Employment Job and Resource Fair at Ocean County College.  

We managed the table, where we used the networking skills that we had learned in the program to meet other companies. We also exchanged different ideas regarding people with disabilities.

We invited several different companies for Career Day in our program.  Our other responsibilities included setting up the table and keeping it presentable and stocked with information and Arc swag throughout the day. 

At first, we were nervous talking to people we didn’t know but we gained confidence as the day progressed.
